![]() One General MathengeLocation: General Mathenge (Nairobi, Kenya) Client: AMS Properties A mixed dwelling scheme consisting of 20 apartments: 14 duplex and 6 triplex. This 1.5 acre site had a 15m drop from the highest point at the entrance of the site to the bottom at its opposite edge. The top block is only ensuring that the apartment blocks did not overpower the surrounding area. The development is arranged in 3 blocks of differing heights to create an equal elevated mass. | ![]() One West ParkLocation: Westlands, Mpaka Road. Client: AMS Properties One West Park, consists of luxury apartments in the heart of Westlands, Nairobi. The very sloping site called for clever use of space and arrangement of blocks so as to create an environment that is at a human scale without being taken over by car parking. The design is based round a central green courtyard with a feature swimming pool and waterfalls. |

A modern take on this market, which has been well received by the client. The scheme is set over 2 blocks, 5 storeys each with under craft car parking. The challenge was the narrow nature of the plot which has been dealt with without compromising privacy of each. | ![]() Arboretum LinkLocation: Arboretum Drive (Nairobi, Kenya) Client: Sports Road Properties This scheme sits on a narrow plot with an 18m drop from the highest point at the entrance side of the plot to the platter at the bottom. The challenge was to create buildings that do not hinder the privacy of the Apartments, while still having Glimpses of the river at the edge of the site. The big drop in level has been neutralized for basement parking, and the slope does not hinder in the access to the furthest block. | ![]() 5 Star MeadowsLocation: Kiambu Road (Nairobi, Kenya) Client: AMS Properties The scheme comprises of a 20 acre site on Kiambu Road, divided into a master plan of plots ranging from a 1.25acres upwards. It is a comprehensive development consisting of 3 & 4 bedroom massionates and a shopping and sport complex set on 2 acres within the development. The design takes on a Mediterranean theme that will be carried through out in terms of both building and landscape. |
